The student leader who started it all
Founder & President
Grade 9 Student Leader
Jawad is a Grade 9 student with a strong passion for health education, community advocacy, and youth leadership. He launched this initiative to reduce health literacy gaps, strengthen mental well-being, and serve underserved community members through student-led, age-appropriate programs and outreach efforts.
Jawad is particularly interested in how early education, prevention, and advocacy can improve health outcomes across diverse communities. He believes young people can create meaningful, lasting impact when empowered to lead with empathy, responsibility, and a commitment to service.
"I believe health education should begin early. By empowering students to take action, we can build communities that value well-being, support one another, and make informed decisions about health."
— Jawad Anwar, Founder & President
Student leaders committed to making health and wellness accessible to all
CHWI operates with a clear hierarchical structure that enables efficient delegation and collaboration. Our founder sets the vision and oversees all operations, while coordinators manage specific program areas and report directly to leadership.
This structure ensures accountability, provides clear pathways for growth, and allows us to scale our impact as we recruit more team members. Every role is designed to develop leadership, management, and communication skills.
